Characteristics and performance of soft seal Hastelloy plug valve

1. The inlet and outlet end windows of the soft seal Hastelloy plug valve body are designed as a double groove sealing ring structure. During the rotation of the plug, the sealing specific pressure between its sealing pairs is gradually changing until it reaches the fully open or fully open position, generating sufficient sealing specific pressure, and the sealing pair reaches zero leakage.

2. The double groove sealing ring of soft seal Hastelloy plug valve can not only make the soft seal bushing stable in the valve body without migration, but also absorb the slight deformation of the bushing caused by the temperature difference change. At the same time, there is a strong extrusion between the bushing and the plug, so as to improve the service life of the sealing surface.

3. The upper part of the plug shaft of the soft seal Hastelloy plug valve adopts a unique PTFE (or reinforced PTFE) diaphragm and a combination of wedge-shaped gasket and adjusting gasket, which can not only adjust the sealing specific pressure of the sealing surface, make the plug rotate flexibly, but also ensure the sealing of the inlet and outlet ends and the connecting ends of the middle flange.

4. The PTFE sealing bushing of soft sealing Hastelloy plug valve can adopt different fillers according to the service temperature and working medium, which has good lubrication and long service life.

5. When the cock rotates, the metal lips at the inlet and outlet of the middle chamber of the valve body have a scraping effect. At the same time, the valve has no cavity to accumulate the medium, which is especially suitable for viscous, scaling and crystallization conditions.
